Because of my committment to our future and our environment, I offer environmentally conscious hosting services. I work with a data center in California to provide web hosting to my clients. By generating electricity through the use of solar panels, the center is able to produce the energy needed without polluting our environment. Solar panels power both the data center and offices, unlike other companies that use energy credits for their servers and/or office. We have invested in the fight to stop pollution and preserve our natural resources by using 100% solar power. Power is generated using 120 solar panels located on two large sets of arrays, one on each side of the Romoland, California data center. The solar panel arrays face due south, which will generate the most possible amount of electricity. The power from the solar panels is DC, which is converted to AC through inverters. After energy is converted using the inverters it is stored in the battery bank. It then leaves the battery bank and runs throughout the data center and offices, including the air conditioners. In the case of an emergency, power can be created from a backup generator.
